Thanks to the Guys on ths list..;-))..Have got my sons pc working on the
internet as well ;-))

Yep the current one is connected via USB............

As for a router, are you looking for a plain router or might you want to
have wireless access sometime in the future...?
Personally, all of my wireless/router equipment is Linksys. Not sure what
choice you have out there in Oz...

Installing the router should be quite easy, however your cable modem may
have some problems switching to a new MAC address (I know mine has to be
powered off for about four hours if I were to switch the device (router/PC)
that is connected to it). How do you cuurently connect to your cable
modem...? Is it a USB connection to the main PC...?
