Tony,

A few suggestions for you :-)

I spent ages looking for a small mouse for my 3 year old daughter. I
finally found one in Asda at Havant of all places. It's a Fellowes
"Mini Web Pro". It actually has 4 buttons plus scroll wheel but
you can set it up to use whichever you choose. Translucent blue L & R
buttons, silver top and black base, optical, but corded. The cord is a
reasonable length though. USB and PS/2 interface too. It's the perfect size
for Isabelle's hand - she's much better with this as a standard size one
just frustrated her.

CPC used to do keyboards with lower case letters on the keys instead of
capitals. She's gradually getting there with a regular keyboard but I do
think she'd be better off with lower case letters for now. The CPC one was
only boring beige, and corded, but wasn't expensive from what I recall.

I wouldn't suggest a touchscreen, I cringe every time she makes a move
towards my laptop screen :-(

www.bbc.co.uk/cbeeies is her favourite, particularly Pippin and Balamory.

HTH & let us know how you get on (pictures !!)

Cheers,

Tim H.
