What amazes me is that we as an ISP have been offering 2mb broadband for
about 18 months (yep from the start). I don't see what the big fuss now is
about 1 and 2mb broadband.

You also need a good line or live very near to the exchange as the line
loss
needs to be around 30db or less or you start getting issues.
