Stuart,

Document F of the building regs defines the ventilation required in
rooms, either internal or otherwise.  For internal rooms, you need
to provide sufficient ventilation in one of the adjacent rooms, and
provide ventilation between the two.  Ventilation is 4000mm2 for
bathrooms and 15 litres per sec extraction.
