Response on the Comfort list was that I needed to make sure any IR Led had
the appropriate current limiting resistor.
Can anyone confirm if the Xantech emitters have the resisitor in the
emitter
or not ?
Thanks
Dean

The comfort manual suggests I can simply add an IR LED to a comfort ouput
to
allow comfort to transmit pre-learnt IR codes.
Anyone done this and comment how well it works and/or got a Farnell/Maplin
part no for a suitable LED.
Can I just use one of the emitters available for Xantech etc. (like these

The application I have in mind would only need to operate 1 device in
node0 - so no need for high power blasters or anything.
