I'll make a deal with you...
I'll look at it, on the condition that you *NEVER* say "xapl"
again, as long
as you live? ;)
In all seriousness, xPL and xAP remain distinct entities, and whilst we are
cooperating to allow the UKHA to make use of either protocol within their
environments, this doesn't in any way diminish the development effort that
we (speaking for the xPL team) are doing.
The cooperation opens new doors, it doesn't close old ones: we will
continue
to develop xPL applications, and improve the tools we have in the field and
so on.
A key example: Mark H is developing a HV connector, and we will be looking
to script specific support for that app into xPLHal. It is likely, however,
that we will continue to develop a native xPL version if there is a need
present.
And back to topic, where's the best place to snag a copy of the XBMP
source?
Ian.
