Hi,

Im currently selling my house, with a view to moving to an are which is
covered by a different exchange, so far with the viewers I had explained
the
benefits of HomeHighway, and unfortunately the costs, all of the viewers
were not interested in HomeHighway. Therefore to save any confusion and to
allow the viewers to install Broadband if they like I wanted to cancel my
HomeHighway installation and drop back to a single Analogue line.

I've been a user of HomeHighway since it was available (years ago) so
there
are no problems with minimum contract periods, however I have just been
informed it will cost me £50 to drop back to a standard Analogue line,
which
I find absolutely ridiculous considering I've been paying approx £75 per
quarter for years for line rental plus calls for HomeHighway. I think they
have had their bite out of me. I do not remember anything from the original
T+C that mentioned a cancelation fee outside the contract period !

Has anyone else here come across this ?

Thanks

Darren
