RE: 1U PSU's/heat removal

Now you know why it was a bargain ;-)

How about this?

http://www.ultim8pc.co.uk/index.asp?section=3Dproducts&idd=3D4
- sorry no d=
irect
link, but theres a 40mm fan near the bottom - I recently got one from RS to
replace one in a cisco hub that started making strange noises too!

Failing that, two fanless PSU's are here, again designed for EPIA stuff, so
more than powerful enough.

Thanks Tim - the question is, how quiet is it? I'd be surprised if
there is no fan at all - mind you, it is only 55W.=20=20
I need to power one HD and the board is the 1Ghz version. Wonder would
55w be enough?

It's a 40mm fan - not many of them about :(

RACK-1U200 from http://www.icp-epia.co.uk/ =A395 -

Cheers.
