Rob,

You could add up the power consumption from the equipment rating plates.
That'd give you an idea of how close your AC rating is the rating of your
kit. I appreciate it's a bit rough & ready and that not all of the
input power comes out as heat ;-)

For info, 1 watt is the same as 3.412 Btu/hr
