I don't think they generally send an engineer out if they revert to=20
the analogue line - they certainly didn't for me, but they do have to=20
actually action the disconnection at the exchange. Someone just=20
turned up a few later to collect the modem.
Charging for "reconnection"/provisioning is entirely down to the
new=20
providers policy on these matters and is infuenced by whatever=20
wholesale or local loop agreements they have in place AIUI.
