Either you have the wrong networking client installed or the "Primary
Network Logon" option is wrong.  It would help if you told us what
appears in the Control Panel Network settings under "The following
network components are installed" and "Primary Network
Logon".
For example I have:
Components:
Client for Microsoft Networks
Compaq NC1120 Ethernet NIC
TCP/IP -> Compaq NC1120 Ethernet NIC
Primary Network Logon:
Windows Logon

You also need to at the properties for each network component but that's
where things can get really complex so I'll skip that bit for the moment.
