Re: Electric Curtain Tracks

Graham

The Silent Gliss models have a transformer so the motor unit runs at 24v.

To control it I used an appliance module connected to a changeover relay to
provide voltage freee contacts that force the curtains open/closed
depending
on whether the appliance module was on or off.
This works fine unless there is a power cut in the middle of the night when
the power being turned on causes the curtains to change state.

I was going to see if, rather than change over relay, this could be done
with a resistor and a single contact. This would then fit in easier with a
universal module or CBUS voltage free relay.
