Dixons deserve the stick they get, but their airport operations
actually have some plus points:
One thing worth remembering - if travelling inside the EU, Dixons
still give you 17.5% off (ie equivalent to VAT free). If you are VAT
registered, you can then claim a *further* 17.5% back on top of that -
- which can make for a cracking discount on well chosen items...
Dixons are also happy to "order in" one-offs, and deliver direct
to
UK addresses to save you lugging kit through the airport.
Not bad, all in all.
