A couple of options for internet connection

Firstly set up an AOL account on the day - they dont check back the CID,
although they require one to be sent. You'll need to use someones credit
card
details and ENSURE you cancel before the 30 days are up or else you get
charged
next month's line rental.

Alternatively you can dial up via Orange on a HSCSD phone (Nokia 6210, 6310
etc), via a 0800 calling card - cost then is around 2p per minute - gives
around 43kps connection speeds.
