in the end I figured that's all it was...

I decided in the end to check the ukha archive - such a wonderful thing
that is! - any only found one reference to autom8it being free only
whilst in beta. The message was from Mark Harrison is response to
another question... (I've added it below for reference and to save people
having to look it up...

However, almost every other message was touting the __FREE__
(yes, including the underscores) nature of autom8it... I guess somewhere
some wires got crossed...

I'm still dissapointed though...

Maybe he wants free software.

Autom8it is ONLY free during the Beta... it's clearly intended to become
chargeable after that. (At least, recent notes from Jim have asked people
how much they'd be prepared to pay.)
