I did exactly the same thing in my new bathroom as I hate the fan (located
in
shower stall) running whenever the light gets turned on.

I do need to incorporate a timed delay so that the fan continues to run for
a
short period after the shower is switched off

Got a 15mm flow switch from farnell.

Not sure of the part number but sure I paid no more than 10 quid.  I can
mail
the part number when I get home tonite if that is any use search them for
flow
switch.
