Is this an old highway installation???

There have been several revisions of the Highway boxes (NTE9), and
those earlier than (I belive from memory) the mk 3 had "odd"
ringing
characteristics.  My Brother fax machine refused to work at all on
Business Highway.  BT's solution at the time - give me a BT fax
machine!  Subsequently (and eventually) BT swapped out the NTE9, and
the BT fax machine is now rotting in the loft....
