Re: External LV PIR's



The GJD Elite PIR has a pressure sensor that acts as a tamper.  However, no
external PIR is totally tamperproof - it's best to position them high
enough
so they're out of reach.

Hi Des, I have used GJD Opal External PIR 12v on a couple of my comfort
installs, but note that there are no tampers on these, so although they are
suitable for lighting aplications they are not ideal for perimeter
security.
That said I have found them to be very reliable. £46.20 + Vat each

I use Pulnix external sensors around the outside of my shack
...
..
MS-100E....I think they were around $160.00 Aussie...not cheap
but work quite well...THey have a UK office....
