RE: VFD Questions

Dave

What is the advantage of a VFD being compatible with LCD? Does it mean that
I can use a program which was designed for use with LCDs and use a VFD
instead and the program won't know the difference?

Cheers
Pedro

Pedro,

Have a look at the GU140x32F-7812 as this is LCD compatible and has RS232
serial. I think Farnell do this or the -7806 version but that is only CMOS
serial.

www.noritake-itron.com is the UK site by the way and has some additional
modules and software to control them..
