Girder is actually control software but with plug-ins to be able to
control it via network (what I'm using), IR, keyboard, mouse etc etc. It
allows you to control pretty much anything on a remote PC (like winamp,
OS features, programs etc). it does have a lot of IR support but you
don't have to use it.



My HV is linked via serial to both my HA server and directly to Comfort
(for reliability). I have a lot of scheduling in HV that reacts directly
to Comfort (e.g. automated lights from security PIR's, heating control

with HomeVision...?
