Firm and Misterhouse

In the spirit of sharing progress I thought I'd let you all know that I
have had success integrating Misterhouse and FirM.  Not all that
difficult apart from the time aspect ... hands up anyone without that
problem !

Frank has been kind enough to allow me to be a beta tester with FirM.  I
think I reported some time ago that I had modified the LIRC serial
driver (http:/www.lirc.org) to support Frank's FirM ie. Zoning.  I have
also mentioned that I have been slowly building up a control system
based on Linet (http://www.linet-network.com) - I
have a homebrew dimmer
controlling the living room light at the moment.

So I can now control the light via a remote control:
REMOTE -> FIRM -> LIRC -> MISTERHOUSE -> LINET NETWORK ->
DIMMER NODE

So nothing earth shattering but it is a number of components coming
together.
