Pretty Close, I would say.

At the moment, you can extract the ty file from TiVo, then use a clever
batch script: you drag/drop the .ty file onto this script, and it goes off
an does it's thing. You only need to interact with the process if you want
to chop out some adverts...

I dunno about going to DVD/VCD as I'm more of a "keep it on the
server"
kinda guy, but I'm sure someone can help in that respect..

Since TiVo group is no more I am posting here.
I just want to be able to run tytools and then double click on a .ty
file to convert it to MPG. Then burn to DVD or VCD. How close are we to
that?
