RE: Cat Scarers ?
Ahh but it doesn't have any pan or tilt :-)
- now wheres the fun in that?
Perhaps a stage further would be to combine something like this with a
transmitter on each cat.. so that the device could "home" in :-)
(I know getting the transmitter into the cat could be tricky... but what
about an air rifle bullet sized transmitter? :-)

What about a combination of:
A hose pipe.
A PC Servo control board:

and a couple of servos
and an RS water pipe solenoids
(The RS number is 342-023 and they also do the mating copper bit 363-6517.
They cost 9.43 and about 1.45 respectively + VAT of course)
Then you can have a remote control pan and tilt soaker...
Add in a Webcam for good measure... and then you could soak them from work
:-)
