Quality is pretty good, as always being wireless depends on how many walls
it's got to get through to get to the receiver.  The reception is good over
20-30 feet through walls if you adjust the aerial round and I've had it
going at the end of our garden 120 feet away through some patio doors.  You
can always get the Robocam pan & tilt base for it as well.

Never used the battery pack so don't know.
