I doubt it - I've got an older supra modem (that won't run happily on XP)
and that was never any good for passing CID information.

The Meteor box still seems the most reliable way to go, albeit a bit
pricey.

Subject: [ukha_d] Diamond SupraExpress modem & caller id

Hello,

Does anyone have a Diamond SupraExpress modem? If so, can you tell me if it
supports caller id? I'm thinking of upgrading my modem, the v92 would be
nice but few isps will spend the money supporting it (which is a shame when
you can't get adsl), so my main reason to change is to get one with caller
id compatibility.

I searched their web site and contacted them by email, fax, and letter and
no replies! What a bad company. I asked Dabs and they said "they could
not
answer" and some nonsense about specifications always changing... in
other
words they were to lazy to look at a box, so I was too lazy to give them my
business.

Reading a box in PC World didn't tell me either ;(

Any opinions on connection via "old" serial or usb? IS there a
difference?

Thanks.
