I've alws found Mdameon to be very good, Not the fastest mail server in the
world.. But does the job and dosen't loose messages,
Any how.. Maby the answer is to look at NNTP, After all this has the
traphic
of a newsgroup. Not sure how you'ed go about getting your selves added to
thease things or if you can modorate it the same way as yahoo.. You also
still need the Value added services of yahoo..

Mdaemon is not very good for the traffic that something like ukha_d
generates you'd prolly find it would be worse off than it is now :)

I've just installed MDaemon on our work server. (BTW we are buying off
Dr
John http://www.sawood.co.uk/ who
has provided great support).
I wouldn't like to host the list our work ADSL though.
I am actively exploring an alternative now, if we need to move.
