Re: Thermostat with RS232



Let me see if I've got this straight...I think need an idiot's guide to
this...

Looking at the TR15 manual, it looks like the wall display unit sends a DC
signal to the controller,
and the controller takes a 24VAC input and uses internal relays to feed a
heating system expecting
24VAC.

So I would need to connect an external relay that would take the switched
24VAC from the TR15
controller as the signal to switch 240VAC that goes to the heating system.
Is this right?

Does this then mean I'd also need a 240VAC to 24VAC transformer to give the
TR15 the power it
expects?
