A relay that is capable of shifting 240AC to 24V DC readily available

After that it's just DCV in from the stat to operate the relay and mains
out as to operate the boiler basically creating a switch at that point
operated remotely by the stat.

The RCS TX15B X10 thermostat is the same deal.
