I think this is a typical story... some electronic transformers work
and some don't. There doesn't seem to be an easy way to tell which do
and which don't. I've had electronic transformers which I could turn
on by X-10, but couldn't turn off, electronic transformers which
wouldn't do either, and one which worked fine, all from different
sources. Life was too short, and I gave up trying to find a reliable
X-10 solution in the end.
