As I find controlling the Rio/DDAR painful using the remote and
(particularly) it's own display, I've installed the Displayserver
hack and can now control via an on screen display on a wireless
fuji/laptop. Whilst it's far easier and comfortable to see the
display on the fuji (albeit still small), it's a pain having to
scroll up or down the full lists of 400+ playlists, albums etc. Is
anyone aware of a way of controlling via alphabetically indexing
(like the remote does), or of a better way than Displayserver to
control it without having to squint at the Rio itself? Obviously I
could use the remote to control & see the display on the fuji but
it's not a very elegant solution.
Any ideas anyone?
Nick
