The motor will be fine.

The spinning motor creates back-EMF so as the contacts open there will
momentarily be a high voltage across the motor terminals.  As the
contacts open and close this can cause arcing.

For you application I can't see this being a problem, but you may want
to choose relays that are rated for controlling inductive loads.  Also
you may need some form of interference suppression.
