RE: FirM
Unfortunately no family in Melbourne..... :-(
The data from LIRC is simply an ASCII string with a remote type, button
type and zone number, all obtained via a UDP port.
I am controlling my Linet lighting system using FirM, only it is via Mr
House. A little ASCII art should confuse the picture nicely :-)
UDP UDP Linet
net
FIRM <==> LIRC SERVER <===> MR HOUSE SERVER <===> LINET
CONTROLLER
<=======> DIMMERS
Update on 3 zone amplifier. Found the problem with the volume and this
helped the hum problem as well. Need to find some decent heatsinks to
fully test - and time of course. I was testing late at night when
everyone went to sleep - unfortunately automated volume setting testing
isn't very compatible with that - or so I found out :-)
Cheers
Shane
