Some routers will also let you spoof the MAC address, so you can make BY
see the MAC address of the original network card & thus not bother with
the self help stuff....

I recently had to ring BY up to get a MAC addy added for a client.  They
said "up to 24 hrs, but probably 2-3 hrs".
It was actually activated within about 10 minutes!
