RE: UKHA2003 Video

Hi All

I have got a mac and a DVD burner, I would be willing rto run off 5-10
copies. I have also got ADSL so the download would not be an issue.

Thanks for the kind words about the video - always nice to get them :-)

As you can imagine, 25 mins of video uncompressed is quite large (the DV
version is 5.5Gb and DV is compressed 4:1 !). I tried to get a good balance
of compression/file size whilst making it watchable (I always dislike
having
to compress video so much, especially when I put so much effort into
ensuring that the original is top-notch quality).

Due to popular demand, I've also uploaded a higher resolution/quality
version of just the intro sequence. Hopefully Mark can modify the story
page
to include this link today :-)

I do have an MPEG-2 (DVD file) version of the full length video. Due to the
significant amount of time already spent on this project, I wouldn't
particularly want to send out hundreds of copies! If people want it, maybe
various people in the group could act as 'mirrors' and distribute to
smaller
sub-groups?

[Plug] - If anyone needs Video production, Multimedia Authoring (CDROM/DVD)
etc - you know where I am ! ;)

Cheers,

Paul.
