RE: Re: Webpads

Err - could have been an ePod. I saw so much in such a short time its
all a bit of a blur to be honest. It was controlling some MP3 players
upstairs in one of the demo rooms....Help?

Can you give me a quick summary of strengths/weaknesses? I want it for
the following (in priority order):

1. Armchair web surfing & DigiGuide display

2. Glorified remote control (sending IR directly or via Autom8IT web
interface and a RedRat)

3. CallerID display for incoming calls

4. General PDA type stuff (contacts, appointments, notes, etc)

Thanks!

Julian

Julian,

Before you rush out to buy a Fuji, please check that it really WAS a
Fujitsu that you used at UKHA2003.

The reason I write this is that there were several ePods around as
well.

The ePod is quite a different beast, with both strengths and
weaknesses compared to the Fujitsu, and I'd hate for you to discover
you weren't getting what you thought if you did win an eBay auction...

Regards,

Mark
