Bought two 1U blanks at exhorbitant cost from CPC. Particularly gutting as
the
company I just started at skipped about 40 this morning. Or that's what
they
believe, anyway ;)

Just marked a centre line, used a centre punch at 2cm intervals, and had at
it
with a 10mm bit and SDS drill. Needed a bit of grinding on the back to get
rid of sharp edges, and bobsyer. First one took about an hour, second one
took about 5 minutes ;)

I noticed (after I placed my last order, annoyingly) that CPC do a F type
insertion tool - like a big offset socket driver, basically. Anyone tried
this? I'd be up for anything that saved my thumbs!
