any suggestions to a solution to the problem I am experiencing with my
MV1000.

Ok - I have been struggling with this for while now

I cannot get the ftp to work.
I connect but the connection times out. I don't get any prompt for
the user name and pass.

I also cannot connect from outside my network which is not very helpful.
Any kind knowledgeable person willing to help me out please ;-)

You're not trying to connect using the external IP from a machine inside
the network are you? If so, it won't work - you have to come in from a
different network.

What's the URL? Perhaps someone here could try it for you, as they did
for me when I set mine up.
