Are you with NTL?
I have not been able to connect with my home system for ages!
It is quite possible me that is at fault but I have set my system up
loads of times in the past with no problems.....
What I am told is that NTL (and others) are blocking all ports bar
80/8080....
If I ever get time I will try to sort this out....
Probably not your problem just felt like letting off a bit of steam...

I am getting really strange goings on using the mv1000.
I have set up a cam to test it.
I am not a fan of the webserver ? can I customize the pages ?
The bizarre thing is I cannot connect to the webserver from the outside.
I have put the webserver on a port and using my vigor router I am
mapping the ports as I normally do. But I cannot connect to the
webserver from
>From the outside only inside my network. Anyone else seen this ?
