Not the end of the world though; Laser sell a 3-pin modified RR501 (IIRC)
that runs on the US frequencies.  All my rf kit is US, and it works fine.

Chris,

IIRC the US stuff doesn't operate on 433MHz..which is where the UK stuff
works.

So everything RF related being US-sourced, or everything RF-related being
UK-sourced is fine; but mixing the two is troublesome.
