Re: [OT] CF NIC and PC Card\CF Adaptor

Heh : Sweet.

It's a great site that cewindows.net also shows specs on the power
consumption of the cards cos some of them use quite a lot of juice.... Last
time I looked I found the socket ones to be easy on power consumptions.

Anyway have fun being networked an all.
Caio,
Shaf

Shaf,

Thanks for the link - I don't need to buy a new NIC now as the Linksys
WPC11 I had I thought was not supported but the link said it was with
some Compaq drivers.

All installed and working!

Thanks again

Don

Yes you sure can.

CF compact flash adapter 10squid :
Wireless card CF (but make sure its supported/has drivers check @
http://www.cewindows.net/peripherals.htm
)

but remember that SD cards can handle SDIO which is where hp/compaq are
going and so in future you'll see the pda's with such ports check out
the
new H2210 (http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=105739&asource=)
very
juicy and only £370 : I remeber shelling out £450 for the original ipaq
heh

I'm not sure if an SDIO and apropraiate adapter will work in our ipaq's.
Sheesh I'm stuck with old technology - must either make some money or
get a
job.... grrrrrrr

Shaf
