Re: Fixed IP / IP ranges

This is what I have at the moment.

<-- cable modem -> [ gw 1 ipv4 address 1 ipv6 address] ( Running
linux
NATing the below networks : Services SMTP, HTTP(multiple vhosts and
proxies),SSH, port forwarding to subnets and transparency for NAT'd hosts,
ipv6inv4)
<----cross over cable--> [ Wireless
Access Point ]<---> {Wireless Network }

<---- >{ cat5 wired network ipv4 and
ipv6 }

<-----> {IEEE1394 Network over several
ports}

I haven't played with a H.323 gateway but looking at the docs it runs on
linux (whoo hoo).

4
of my IP's (1 is an AP) on the external network for Wireless over VPN so
that they are treated as any other internet user but can have full
unrestricted internet access. I also run a H.323 gateway that needs a
static
IP, 1 NAT router plus 1 internet router, 2 email servers (1 for the family,
1 for a business venture) plus a home web server.

long ago hosts were sharing T1's at best and some were on single
