I have just emailed the head man at Pulnix Sensors as there was talk of
them
designing a pir for the ha market.....What i said would be nice is to have
a unit with 2 alarm relays one super sensitive and one standard.......
- I was just wondering whether it's a good idea to set the PIR zones to
this
type or not.
Generally "perimeter" is used for doors and windows and as you
would be
aware allows you to move around the house while having the perimeter
secured.....Although i have a pir on my perimeter area ........Is it not
possible to have a hit counter on zones when in Home Mode OR is it possible
to only trigger the internal noise makers when in home mode ?????

They have all been different sensors. I guess the most likely reason so far
is the sensitivity settings - I'll change them all today and ditch the
automated lighting functions (which never were responsive enough anyway!).
There were windows open on one occasion (but not much breeze as far as I
can
tell). As to the 'perimeter' settings in Comfort - this is a standard
feature - I'll change them all today and ditch the automated lighting
functions

Dont think is is a good idea to have them super sensitive......you should
probably use another detector for lighting control

This is the time i assume the detectors must be unsealed for before comfort
decides the sensor is in alarm....My thoughts would be 200mSec would be
suffice ??

Can you not do this in your Comfort Scripting ??? So if Home mode is on
then look for 2 trips on a zone within say 10 seconds ??.........

Wouldnt think so unless they are actually inside the detector.........???
Make sure all cable entries to the detectors are sealed ........

I would *guess* that most electronic stuff would be rated up to 50 C.....

My Comfort enclosure and slave panel are mounted in Node0 which gets
extremely hot (working on an air extract system now) – Could high
temperatures cause false alarms? What temperatures are the electronics
tested to?
Your thoughts would be most welcome (and maybe help me get more sleep!)
