Forgive me Gerard but I'm obviously a 'newbie' on this then

- how does the account interception work and happen ? - how can
people hijack a sellers account to list items - and then redirect the
emails
- and then also manage to place a new bid using my eBay user ID on a
different auction ?? I can sort of believe that one unlucky seller might
have been compromised (guessed or revealed password) but two - and then
also
to be able 'on demand' to place a bid with my user ID - and my password is
unlikely to guessable and is unique to eBay.

Kevin

what you describe is classic ebay fraud. I go thru and pick out eight to
ten
a day in the high end camera section alone.
