RE: KVM

IME Stay away from the Belkin Omniview range. We have 2 * 8 channel KVM
cascaded together running our server room. In the past 18 months I've
had to send both back for faults, currently only one of the two console
channels is working. I haven't had much better luck with a Belkin 4-way
either.

Issues include erratic mouse behavior when switching and poor video
quality from the cascaded box.

We were told to replace all our existing KVM cables with Belkin
'recommended' cables and interconnects throughout which has made no
difference. Also had very poor customer service from them when trying to
resolve these issues.

Can anyone recommend a good KVM switch, 4 port doesn't have to rack
mount? The Belkin jobs seem very expensive when you add the cables.

Many thanks
