Does the mod take the form of additional hardware - or is it a mod to
existing hardware/software?

The PTZ has to be enabled by a mod in the box - Takes a couple of hours. I
have an additional manual for the PTZ functions if anyone is interested.

Does anyone know how the pan-tilt-zoom-focus operation works on the
MV-1000. I'd quite like to get a pan and tilt unit but want to know
how these interface with the MV-1000 first.
