Presumably a lot of external sensors are still required?

How does something like this differ from a Dallas weather station (of which
I admit to knowing precious little!)?

Hi All,

Just got the July issue of EPE and there is a preview of next months issue

Temperature in C and F including Sub Zero
Amospheric relative humidity as an RH percentage
Soil Moisture , bone-dry to saturated as a percentage
Light intensity as a relative percentage , full sun to total darkness
Rain Fall, immediate
Rain Fall , cumulative
Wind Speed kph, mph, beaufort - immediate and averaged

Recording of all data to non-volatile serial memory - upto 256kB
Selectable data sampling rates from 1 second to 1 hour intervals
Serial output of realtime and recorded data to PC.

There is also some mention of PC software for it but I assume the serial

xAP and xPL enabled :-)

Sounds like it could be an interesting project.
