Knowing what I have now is easy because I don't have any floors yet or plaster on walls. No cable or
pipes except temporary stuff.

After much surfing, I've found quite a few high-end CAD systems with no prices on the net.
Everything looks to be overkill for a home system. The only plausible candidates I found are IMAP's
docIT for $643 and CablePro for $75. Both have free demos...I'll have a play with CablePro.
