Ahj, the old "hoover the bed" routine.  My mate used to sell Kirbys for
a while and he always used to tell me about hoovering the bed and
guaranteeing a sale.  It was ideal because of all the dead skin we leave
in there..  Urrgg! :-)

I really like the attachments, especially the carpet shampooer.

What sold me on it, was the fact that we had just had the carpets
professionally cleaned and the Kirby rep arrived that night. After a few
seconds on a 1m square area and picking up a s**t load of dirt, I was
sold on it straight away. Mind you, after what it removed from my 2
month old bed, that was scary...

Regards
Dave...

Nope ... not at all Paulie. I was all set to get a VAX as they were
about the only brand I'd heard anyone mention apart from some company
(long since dead and gone IIRC) called "Kirby". When I spoke with Jo's
parents this morning (coz we were going to cancel going to theirs for
lunch) it was then that they said the VAX that they had was pants.
