I've been using the updated firmware for about a month - one slightly
annoying thing is that when 'instant rewind' is selected, there's a
longer
than normal delay when changing channels - approx 1 second.
Also, this feature will surely affect hard disk life.  I tend to leave
my
$ky+ boxes switched on all the time - so the hard disk will be used
constantly 24 hours a day.  That's about 10 times more use than it
had
before.

It's still a good feature though
