Hi Dan,

I think it is widescreen but I think your DVD player is setup for a 4:3 TV.

The image on the TFT has black bars which is how a WS DVD would be on a
4:3TV. If you compare the TV and TFT closely, (look at the mountains in the
top corner), you can actually see more picture detail on the TFT. It looks
as if the TV has auto zoomed to get rid of the black bars and in the process
has lost the extremities of the picture.

Cant wait till mine arrive :-)

Hi all

I've uploaded some piccys of the screen output of the Kenwood TFT
compared to a 24inch Widescreen TV to the photos area of Yahoo
(Folder is called Kenwood TFT)

http://photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/ukha_d/lst?.dir=/Kenwood+TFT&.src
=gr&.order=&.view=t&.done=http%3a//briefcase.yahoo.com/

The image looks somewhat squashed on my TFT, so mine seems not to be
widescreen.

Regards

Daniel
